KAGEROU TOUGE
Unconventional characters in an unconventional story.
The audience was taken aback with the extreme setting where not only the main character but also almost every character is an outlaw. Especially the opening that starts with a comedy scene totally ignores the rules of stage performances. You can feel the determination to destruct a conventional style of stage performance. Hints of story development are embedded even in the funniest scenes. With many twists and turns, it entails an amusing taste of a suspense drama. It is a truly ultra entertainment stage that fully describes the toughness and sadness of people whose means of living is predetermined. The unprecedented physical fight toward the end is really spectacular.

Piquant! Lives of daring outlaws literally out of law and order of this world.
The man has no past. What he knows is his name Yamitaro only.
He arrives at a totally ruined inn town at the bottom of the Kagerou hill to which he was lured by Ginnosuke, a former strolling performer.
Yamitaro faces his past in the shattered town where mobs are in power struggle day and night.
That was the moment when the first drop of blood starts to form a mighty river.
A must see period drama in the style of GEKIDAN SHINKANSEN X KUDOKAN performed by ultra gorgeous cast!
*”KAGEROU TOUGE” literally means “a mountain pass named Kagerou”.
